There’s still tickets available for Kingaroy Kindergarten’s big “Cards, Canapes & Cocktails” casino night which will be held at Kingaroy Town Hall on Saturday night (August 31).
This is a chance to dress up for a night on the town at a fancy casino without worrying about a police raid!
There’ll be two blackjack tables, a roulette wheel, unders and overs, a money wheel and poker tables operating.
But you’ll only be gambling with “funny money” so it’s an opportunity to play some high-stakes games and still go home with your shirt.
The evening will get underway at 6:00pm and dress is “cocktail”.
Tickets are $65 which includes a free drink on arrival, unlimited canapes all evening, entry into the lucky door prize draw and $1000 in “play money”.
If you manage to gamble this away during the night, top ups are available for a small donation to the kindy.
Live entertainment will be provided by local singer Lloyd Back, and there’ll also be two special Flair shows by a Flair bartender (think very impressive cocktail shaking).
The Flair bartender will also be working behind the licensed bar all evening.
There will also be an auction with some great items going under the hammer.
Organisers would prefer if people pre-booked their tickets to help with catering.

Denise said arrangements could be made so that tickets could be collected at the door if people couldn’t make it into Kingaroy before Saturday.
