The Burnett Inland Economic Development Organisation (BIEDO) will be “hitting the road” next month in a big, blue caravan.
BIEDO’s new Business Financial Counsellor Carmel Summers will travel the South Burnett, North Burnett and Banana shires to help small businesses still hurting after the January/February 2013 and 2010/2011 floods.
Ms Summers will be available for confidential, free consultations on financial analysis and cash flow projections to help businesses “get a handle” on their financial situation.
She’s a qualified CPA, registered Tax Agent and Justice of the Peace.
The Business Financial Counsellor position has been funded for the next two years by the Federal Government as part of a Queensland flood recovery initiative.
