The South Burnett’s young footballers enjoyed a feast of soccer fun at the weekend in Kingaroy.
On Saturday, Round 13 of the McDonald’s South Burnett Junior Soccer competition was played in very warm conditions.
On Sunday, the Kingaroy Junior Redbacks hosted a Small Sided Football (SSF) carnival for U6s to U11s.
Thirty-eight teams from as far away as Gladstone, Warwick and Toowoomba attended as well as local South Burnett teams.
A very special guest on the day was Roary, the Brisbane Roar’s mascot.
The Redbacks’ presentation day will be held on Saturday, September 7, after the regular round of South Burnett junior games in the morning.
A march past of all Kingaroy players will take place at 3.00pm.
A sausage sizzle during the afternoon will be a fundraiser for the Redbacks players who have made the State Futsal team which will compete at the National Titles in Sydney later this year.
