Fire and ambulance crews rushed to Kingaroy Airport about lunchtime on Sunday (July 21) after reports that a “burning” aircraft was attempting to land.
Fortunately, however, it was all a false alarm.
An Emergency Services media spokesperson said a Triple Zero call had been received from a member of the public.
A thorough search of the airport and surrounding area located no aircraft on fire.
