Four men have been charged after street signs were allegedly damaged early today near Fisher and Ivy streets, and Haly and Moonya streets, Kingaroy.
Kingaroy police found three people at the scene, and a fourth was located shortly afterwards.
The men, aged 19 to 23, have been charged with damaging Council property and are scheduled to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court.
Kingaroy Police Officer-in-Charge Senior Sergeant Duane Frank said police were aware there had been incidents of vandalism in the area involving street signs recently and were taking active steps to combat the problem.
He urged anyone witnessing street sign vandalism to phone CrimeStoppers on 1800-333-000. They can remain anonymous if they wish.
