Ashton Entertainment is bringing their branch of the world-famous Ashton circus family to Kingaroy from July 12-14 for four shows.
The company was founded by 5th generation Ashton, Jan Ashton-Rodriguez and her husband, former Spanish circus star Brasil Rodriguez.
It is their extension of the family circus that they were born and bred into.
Jan and Brasil, their daughters Chantel and Tamara and grandson Remi, have travelled Australia for many years… and are now coming to Kingaroy.
The Ashton Circus Family is the oldest circus family in Australia, dating back to the early 1800s and James Henry Ashton.
Today, the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th generation of the Ashton family are still on tour, operating three individual circuses throughout Australia, each of which has grown from the same roots.
Ashton Entertainment will be at Kingaroy Showgrounds on Friday July 12, 7:00pm; Saturday (July 13), 4:00pm and 7:00pm; and Sunday (July 14), 11:00am and 1:00pm.
