The occupants of a Brooklands home returned home last night to find their house had been destroyed by fire.
The fire brigade attended the address in Nanango-Brooklands Road at 5:46pm but found the building had fully collapsed.
An Emergency Services spokesperson said it appeared the building had been smouldering for some time.
All firefighters could do was dampen down the remains.
There was no one in the building at the time.
Nanango police said the cause of the fire was unknown but it was not being treated as suspicious.
