A family which recently lost all their possessions in a house fire at Boondooma has been overwhelmed by the support of the local community.
Donations of household items for Gordon Lindsay and his daughter Terri have come from the local, Chinchilla and South Burnett communities as news of the fire spread.
The family now has enough furniture and appliances but are still searching for a house to rent in the Durong or Boondooma areas.
The Durong Green Frog Girl Guides are planning a Family Fun Day and barbecue to be held in July to help the family land firmly on their feet.
