Police are investigating an unlawful wounding which occurred in Kilkivan on Friday night.
At about 10:00pm on May 24, a 58-year-old Maryborough man allegedly sustained knife wounds to his hands and forearm while intervening in a dispute between a man and a woman at a Rossmore Road camping area.
The man was transported to Gympie Hospital for treatment and later released.
Police investigations are continuing.
