The South Burnett Regional Council’s Arts, Culture and Heritage Advisory Committee has announced the successful applicants for Round Four Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) grants.

Arts, Culture & Heritage Committee Chairperson Cr Cheryl Dalton presented the report at today’s SBRC meeting.

They are:

  • Brimblebox Art Project – $1000 for Jill Sampson to present a talk to South Burnett gallery operators and managers on her experience and acquired knowledge about art gallery operations
  • Margaret Westerman – $618 to run two bookbinding workshops on May 25-26 and June 1-2
  • Wondai Regional Art Gallery – $1098 to run an “Essence Of Nature” acrylics art workshop
  • Wondai Regional Art Gallery – $1050 to run a “Letting Go” oils art workshop
  • Nanango Art Society – $300 to run a watercolours workshop
  • Sue Beyer – $751.40 to attend a two-week artist residency at the Bundanon educational centre in NSW

Round 4 was the final RADF grant round from Council’s 2012-13 Budget.

Applications for the first round of RADF grants for 2013-14 will open on July 1 and close on July 26. Successful applications are expected to be announced in August.
