The first of this week’s round of soccer matches was played at Tom Alford Oval in Kingaroy under lights on Thursday night.
In the women’s match, Nanango proved too strong for Wests with Courtney Thompson scoring in the 14th minute and Kerri Thompson in the 47th.
Wests did themselves no favours with an own goal in the ninth minute.
The final score was Nanango 3, Wests 0.
Due to the Nanango Show and Murgon being used for junior rugby league on Saturday there have been changes in the game times for the other matches this weekend:

- 1st Div – Saturday, April 20 – Kingaroy 7:00pm
Barambah v Gunners
- 2nd Div – Sunday, April 21 – Murgon 11:00am

- 1st Div – Sunday, April 21 – Murgon 3:00pm
Junior games will start in Nanango.
