Chelsea Loader, almost 8, from Nanango, with three-month-old “Firebolt”, up for adoption

April 29, 2013

Nanango RSL Club hosted an adoption day for the Kingaroy RSPCA in their carpark on Saturday.

There were three kittens and four dogs up for adoption, attracting a lot of pats and cuddles.

There were also alpacas – not up for adoption! – market stalls, face painting and a jumping castle, all organised by the RSL Club.

Every dog adopted received a  free class from Kingaroy Dog Obedience, a free hydrobath from Puss & Woof and the animal’s next vaccination at Nanango Veterinary Surgery.

Cathy Baker, from Wattle Camp, was looking after the RSPCA’s market stall; Cathy also takes the stall to the Nanango markets every month
