Wondai Race Club will be holding its traditional Anzac Day Race Meeting at the Wondai Racecourse in Cadell Street, Wondai on Thursday.
The meeting was returned to the race club by the State Government after an absence of three years, and will be the 40th Anzac Day meeting held at the course.
As usual, the meeting will feature an on-course TAB, live telecasts of interstate races, an undercover betting ring, barbecue and bar.
There’ll also be a Fashion Parade and Fashions Of The Field competition.
Buses will be leaving the Fitzroy Hotel in Nanango at noon, the Kingaroy Hotel-Motel at 12:30pm, Proston’s Golden Spurs Hotel at 11:30am, the Hivesville Hotel at 11:45am and the Murgon Newsagency at 12:30pm (phone 0427-193-552 to guarantee a seat).
Gates will open at the track about noon with Race 1 at 1:30pm.
