Eight South Burnett rugby league players have been selected for the Wide Bay Country team which will play the South West Mustangs in Kingaroy next month.

The team was selected after the representative games played at Monto at the weekend.

The South Burnett team won both its games, the final after just a 10-minute turnaround.

Results:

  • North Burnett defeated Northern Districts 32-20
  • South Burnett defeated Northern Districts 34-20
  • South Burnett defeated North Burnett 40-24
