Three South Burnett community groups have received a funding boost under Round 75 of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund:

  • CROW-FM – $6050 to install on-air program server
  • Uniting Care Community Kingaroy – $6690 to install air-conditioning
  • Wild Horse FM – $23,114 to establish a new transmitter site and studio

“Community organisations are always are struggling to meet the ongoing demand for their services so it is wonderful that the State Government can provide a helping hand,” Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington said.

“The Newman Government supports the valuable work being done by community organisations and recognises the significant and vital contribution they make to the State.

“These grant programs provide much-needed funds for community groups to help them provide the facilities and activities which make our communities better places.

“They are designed for approved not-for-profit organisations and are not intended to replace existing sources of support for these organisations.”
