Police have charged a 37-year-old Kingaroy man with murder following the discovery of a woman’s body early this morning.
Detectives spent the day interviewing the man after the body of a 26-year-old woman was found at a Gladys Street unit.
Police were called to the unit complex in Kingaroy about 2:15am.
SES blocked off the eastern end of the street for several hours to allow police to conduct their investigations.
The man remains in custody and will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
