The April exhibition at the Wondai Art Gallery is being held to coincide with the Wondai Garden Expo.
The “2013 Wondai Garden Expo Art Competition” will have the theme of native and wild flowers of the South Burnett.
Entries, in any media, must be submitted to the gallery by March 30-31.
First prize is $200, second is $150 and third is $100. There will also be a $50 prize awarded to the work voted “People’s Choice” on the opening night.
The exhibition will be officially opened from 6:00pm on Friday, April 5.
Entry on opening night is $5 which includes hot and cold supper and punch. There will also be wine available to purchase from Captain’s Paddock and live entertainment.
Wooroolin State School students will have artwork on display in Kidz Corner.
The exhibition will remain on display at the gallery throughout April.
The gallery is open from 10:00am-4:00pm seven days a week. Entry is free.
