The Wondai Show Society is looking for new members, and secretary/treasurer Liz Stewart reckons they’ve come up with a good incentive to join up.
The society has dropped its membership fee to just $8 per year – and as this includes free entry to the annual Wondai Show ($10), that’s got to be a good deal.
Liz said members can be as involved as they want to be.
Meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month from 4:30pm at the Wondai Showgrounds.
“We are always looking for input and new ideas,” she said.
The Wondai Show is celebrating its 102nd anniversary this year.
It will be held on Saturday, August 31.
“We need local community support to ensure we continue to provide a great show for all,” Liz said.
