Senior rugby league games will kick off on the weekend after Easter.

South Burnett Rugby League vice-president Greg Pomfret told southburnett.com.au there would be five teams competing in the A Grade competition: Blackbutt, Cherbourg, Kingaroy, Nanango and Wondai.

Every team would play six home games, six away games and have three byes.

The draw has been designed to to feature multiple games at the one venue every week.

The first round will be a double header played at TJ O’Neill Oval in Kingaroy on April 6:  Kingaroy v Blackbutt, Cherbourg v Wondai (Nanango will have the bye).

Some games may also be played against Central Burnett sides at either Gayndah or Mundubbera mid-season, but this is yet to be confirmed.
