Former Red Ant junior Jack Schaffer’s career with the Broncos is gathering speed with the winger selected in the run-on side for tonight’s U20s match against St George Illawarra at Wollongong.
Schaffer will again be playing on the right wing, the position from which he scored a try on debut against the Manly Sea Eagles last weekend.
The try, late in the second half, was crucial to the Broncos’ 30-28 victory in Round 1 of the Holden Cup competition.
Schaffer was named U18s Junior Eagle of the Year last year.
