A 66-year-old Mondure man has been airlifted to hospital after a car crash on the Bunya Highway near Wondai this afternoon.
An AGL Action Rescue Helicopter spokesman said it appeared the man lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road, coming to rest on an embankment.
He was the sole occupant of the vehicle and suffered possible head and neck injuries.
A road ambulance transported the man to Murgon Hospital where he was met by the AGL Action Rescue Helicopter and airlifted to Nambour General Hospital in a stable condition.
The crash occurred shortly after midday.
