The South Burnett Flood Recovery Meetings that were postponed last week – ironically by the latest round of flooding – have been re-scheduled for next week.
The meetings will provide information about eligibility criteria for assistance grants, funding and loans, as well as other support services that are available to help flood recovery efforts.
There’ll be representatives present from Centrelink, Centacare South Burnett, BlazeAid and BIEDO, as well as Farm Financial Counsellors from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry / QRAA, and South Burnett Regional Council staff.
The meetings will provide an opportunity to ask questions, support friends and neighbours and enjoy a cuppa.
Breakfast will also be available at the morning sessions and light refreshments in the evenings.
