As the scale of the flood devastation that hit Gayndah, Mundubbera and Eidsvold becomes even more apparent, a number of local groups have rallied to lend a hand.
Donations of toiletries, toothpaste, toilet paper and food are being collected by the BIEDO office in Goomeri and Chantilly Charm in Kingaroy.
The latest donation priorities are Aeroguard or other personal mosquito repellants to help the volunteer clean-up workers, mosquito coils, anti-itch cream, gloves and personal disinfectant / soap to keep the volunteer workers safe, and microwave dinners
