Toowoomba Mayor Paul Antonio and councillors from Toowoomba Regional Council will be visiting Yarraman on Wednesday, February 27, to discuss visions for the future of the town.
They’ll be holding a public forum at the Yarraman Memorial Hall in Browne Street at 6:00pm to receive submissions on community priorities and visions for the future.
The forum is a follow-on from a similar visit to the town last year.
Guest speakers will also be attending to provide a snapshot of community funding opportunities and Toowoomba Regional Council programs for the current financial year, as well as the longer term.
Refreshments will be served at 6:00pm and the forum will start at 6:30pm.
RSVPs would be appreciated to assist with catering.
They can be made by phoning the Council’s Community Liaison Officer Bronwyn Holland on 0427-574-056 or by emailing her.
UPDATE February 26: Due to recent rain events, Toowoomba Regional Council today rescheduled this meeting to Monday, March 4, at the same time and venue.
