The South Burnett Equestrian Group will be holding its first competition for the year on Sunday, February 24, ie the day after the Cooyar Show.
The Mini Hack Show, to be held at the Kingaroy Pony Club grounds, will begin at 8:30am. Entry will be $2 per class.
“The show is designed for all levels of horse enthusiasts, and will be a great way to get in some practice for the showing year, with Pony, Galloway and Hack classes running on the day,” club spokeswoman Caitlin Isaac said.
“There will also be a Junior and Senior fancy dress competitions for anyone wanting to get creative.
“Classes will be suitable for all ages of exhibitors (from assisted lead-line to open horses and riders), along with ribbons and prizes for all competitors.
“The show is designed to be a fun, casual day so stock saddles are suitable and there’s no need to plait manes and tails. All riders and spectators are very welcome!”
