Are you a handball hero? TV production company Carbon Media is looking for children aged between 9 and 14 to star in a new television series for ABC3.

Handball Heroes is looking for kids in the Wide Bay Burnett region to take part in the show.

Series hosts Alannah Ahmat and Joel Philips will visit each of the 20 children selected and see their home, school, friends and family … and check out their handball moves.

Twenty episodes will be shot from February to March.

Applications close on January 21.
