The Nanango Race Club has thanked the Bendigo Bank, which has sponsored a new TV set for the club.
Club president John Lee accepted a plaque to mount on the TV at the club’s recent race meeting.
“Due to the changeover to digital, the club has to replace all TV sets in the grounds. So this sponsorship from Bendigo Bank is very much appreciated,” Club secretary Rosemary Hansen said.
The club’s first meeting for 2013 will be held on January 12.
The fashion theme will be “Purrrfect Pink”, with one of the prizes being jewellery made by Cr Kathy Duff.
“Large fields again are being anticipated, so bring along your marquee, sit under the trees and enjoy another great day of country racing,” Mrs Hansen said.
