Nanango secured first innings points when the two-day match between Warriors and Scorpions ground to a draw on Saturday.

Nanango clocked up 249 runs in the first innings and were bowled out for 263 in their second dig.

They started Day 2 at 2/70.

Their second innings haul was despite a mammoth effort by Warriors bowler Andrew Askin who took 7/117 off 32 overs.

Best of the Scorpions batsmen were Phil Reddan (71) and Freddy Davies (62).

Best of the Warriors batsmen on Day 1 were Dan O’Conner (64) and Craig Patterson (46).

The captains agreed to call off the game about 4:15pm.

Fraser Coast won by three wickets in their match against the South Burnett’s U19 representative team at Lyle Vidler Oval on Sunday.

South Burnett were dismissed for 161.  Best of the batsmen were Bryce Edwards (56), Tavis Hartwig (37) and Lehman Brunjes (13).

Fraser Coast bowler Duncan Sperling took 5/31 off six overs.

The Coast batsmen achieved the target of 162 with the loss of seven wickets in the 42nd over.

Best were Nick Cornelius (58 n/o), C. Everett (40) and M. Burgess (23).

For the South Burnett, Craig Patterson took 3/21 off 10 overs, Ravis Hartwig 2/39 from eight overs.

Warriors defeated Diggers by 157 runs in their B grade match played at Murgon Saturday.

Warriors declared at 6/310. Mitch Cush (76 n/o), Steve Price (76), Hayden Wieck (54) and Allen Christensen (24) kept the scorers busy.

Best of the Diggers’ bowlers were Tavis Hartwig, 2/34 off eight overs and Rodney Anderson, 2/54 from six overs.

Diggers were dismissed for 153. Top scorers were Nathan Nixon (40), Tavis Hartwig (25) and Joel Sommerfield (19).

Best of the Warriors’ bowlers were Mitch Cush, 2/26 off five overs; Matt Nesbitt, 2/15 off four overs; and Allen Christensen, 2/32 off five overs.

Wondai Wolves won by five wickets in their home B Grade game against the Murgon Magic on Saturday.

Magic batted first. They were dismissed for 127 off 32 overs.

Best of the batsmen were Kieran Thompson 29 and Daniel Thompson 26

For the Wolves, Geoff Wallis took 3/18 off six overs; Toren Anderton, 2 /30 off five overs and Matt Stumer, 2/32 off eight overs.

In reply Wolves batsmen chased down the target in the 28th over with Kiall Rowberry top scoring with 49.

Best of the Magic bowlers were Daniel Thompson, 1/10 off  three overs; M Moses 1/17 off three overs and Tom Patton, 1/19 off eight overs.
