The fledgling South Burnett Saints Aussie Rules team has announced today they have been accepted into the 2013 AFL Darling Downs League.
A spokesman said South Burnett Saints AFC had been officially recognised as an affiliated club and would be participating in the competition from 2013 and onwards.
Chinchilla’s application has also been accepted, which means there will be 11 teams in the Darling Downs competition.
Pre-season training will begin at Lyle Vidler Oval on Tuesday, December 11 at 6:00pm.
The next General Meeting of the club will be held from 6:30pm on Wednesday, December 12 at the Cricket and Sports Club in Youngman Street, Kingaroy.
