A slow-burning bushfire on McLucas Road at Ballogie has been keeping rural fire crews in the area busy over the past few days.
Firefighters were originally called to the scene at 2:30pm on Wednesday afternoon.
They did some backburning in the area to control the flames and had the fire under control by 8:00pm.
They remained on site until 11:00pm on Wednesday.
On Thursday morning, they returned to carry out some more “blackening out”.
This morning, a bulldozer was brought into to cut some more containment lines while fire crews mopped up some smouldering trees and logs.
The area was declared safe at 11:20am.
About 20 fire crews were involved over the three days.
