South Burnett Regional Council’s Healthy Communities Initiative is running an Active Parks weekly physical activity program in Nanango to encourage local residents to get ready for summer by getting outside and getting active!
The sessions, which are for adults, will run for four weeks, at different local venues, from November 19 to December 13.
Local fitness and sports instructors will lead each activity and the cost to participate is a gold coin donation paid directly to the instructor.
Each activity caters to all fitness levels and abilities.
Mondays
- 10:00am-11:00am, Bai Rui Taekwon-Do at the Nanango Cultural Centre
Tuesdays
- 9:00am-10:00am, Ambhara Yoga at Pioneer Park, Railway Lane
- 10:00am-11:00am, Lawn Bowls at Nanango Bowls Club
- 10:00am-11:00am, Rapid Dance at Pioneer Park, Railway Lane
- 10:00-11:00am, Softball at Pioneer Park, Railway Lane
- 10:00am-11:00am, Rapid Box at Pioneer Park, Railway Lane
