A reward is being offered for the safe return of a camera that went missing at Kingaroy Airport on Saturday afternoon.

The Canon 50D digital SLR camera with a 24/105 lens was hung on a fence post on the eastern side of the Glider Clubhouse after the ping pong ball drop while the owner  – a Motors in Motion committee volunteer – was helping to dismantle tents.

Both the camera body and the lens are engraved with Police ID numbers.

If you find the camera, you can contact the owner by phoning 0408 -879-286 or (07) 4162-4466.

Anyone with information about who might have taken the camera should contact Kingaroy Police on (07) 4160-4900 or CrimeStoppers on 1800-333-000.

UPDATE 6:00pm: The camera has been located (see comment below)
