After a busy day helping out at the Motors in Motion Festival at Kingaroy Airport, the visiting Youth With A Mission team hosted a Polynesian festival of singing and dancing in Kingaroy’s Memorial Park on Saturday night.
The YWAM members, who are on a “baton relay” around Australia, volunteer their services in every town they visit along the way, as well as holding Christian-themed celebrations.
Saturday night’s free entertainment in Kingaroy featured “Island Breeze”, a ministry of WYAM whose members come from all over the Pacific but now live in Brisbane.
Island Breeze travels separately to the relay runners and puts on performances at selected towns.
If you missed their show in Kingaroy, they will be performing again in Murgon next Saturday night.
A large marquee will be set up in the Murgon State School from October 28-November 4.
