The large bushfire which has been burning in inaccessible land in the Allies Creek State Forest is moving towards pastoral and grassland south-west of Mundubbera.
The fire is located west of Mundubbera-Durong Road, east of Jaru Road, south of Back Derra Road and north of Monogorilby Road in the Allies Creek State Forest and adjoining freehold land.
The area affected is around the Beeron Road and surrounding areas.
About 70,000ha of land in the Allies Creek State forest area and surrounds has already been burnt out.
Emergency Services says landowners are monitoring the western side of the fire, which is controlled at this time.
Fire crews are working on the eastern side with landowners to strengthen containment lines and protect pastures.
The fire, which is travelling in a south-westerly direction, has been burning in inaccessible country since last week.
QFRS has a control centre set at the Mundubbera Fire Station to assist the local community and monitor the health and well-being of fire crews.
Any landowners affected can call the centre on (07) 4165-4637.

Multiple fire crews are still on the ground fighting several large, slow-moving bushfires burning in the Ravensbourne National Park area near Crows Nest.
These fires, which were sparked by lightning strikes, have been burning since October 20.
Areas north of Ravensbourne National Park and east of Crestbrook and between Brennan Road and Kippa Creek roads and along Esk- Hampton east of Brennan Road are being affected by this fire.
Emergency Services say fire crews conducted backburning operations and reinforced fire breaks overnight. These efforts assisted firefighters to further strengthen containment lines.
People travelling in these areas, in particular along the Esk–Hampton road east of Brennan Road, should proceed with caution due to smoke and QFRS vehicles. Traffic controllers are in place and people should be made aware of some delays as QFRS deals with fallen trees.
UPDATE October 28: The overnight change in the weather has provided a welcome relief to firefighters with the status of all local fires being downgraded.
Firefighters, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service staff and landowners continue to monitor a vegetation fire in the Allies Creek State Forest area which is burning safely within containment lines. There is no threat to properties, however the fire is causing a smoke haze in the area.
Fires that were burning in inaccessible country at Booubyjan and Cooyar are also not a threat to properties.
