Chief Operating Officer John Howard has officially taken over the position of CEO at the Kingaroy-based Peanut Company of Australia.
This follows the resignation of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr Craig Mills.
A letter to shareholders this week confirmed that Mr Mills had resigned on August 21 but would remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director.
Mr Mills – the former CEO of Golden Circle Limited – was appointed Managing Director of PCA in August 2009 after the resignation of Mr Bob Hansen.
He has been gradually “transitioning” from the CEO role over the past year, moving from a full-time to part-time status.
Mr Howard joined PCA in September, 2009. He is the former General Manager Commercial / Procurement at Golden Circle.
