A 43-year-old South Burnett woman has been charged with fraud following investigations into alleged offences in Kingaroy dating back to 2005.
The charges relate to allegations of inappropriate use of finances for two livestock companies in the area between 2005 and June 2008.
North Coast Region Stock and Rural Crime Investigation Squad detectives began investigating the alleged offences after a business owner reported the matter in September 2010.
Det-Sgt Mark Ferling said the woman was arrested and charged with 87 fraud offences totalling approximately $570,000.
“The investigation involved two livestock companies in the Kingaroy area,” Det-Sgt Ferling said.
The woman is due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 27.
