A full round of McDonald’s Junior Soccer Games was played in Kingaroy on Saturday, including the finals of the U12s/13s competition and the last round of fixtures in the Cadets.
McKie Mining Redbacks has finished on top of the Cadets table with 40 points, followed by Kingaroy NewsXpress Redbacks on 36 and Kingaroy Affordable Furniture Redbacks on 34.
Semi-finals for Cadets will be played at the main soccer field in Kingaroy on Thursday (September 6):
- 6:00pm – Kingaroy NewsXpress Redbacks v Kingaroy Affordable Furniture Redbacks (winner to Grand Final – loser to Cadet Cup)
- 7:30pm – McKie Mining Redbacks v Total Building Solutions Qld Bears (winner to Grand Final – loser to Cadet Cup)
Both the U12/13s and Cadets grand finals will be played on Saturday (September 8).
Results
U12/13s Semi-Finals
- Sellwood Construction Bears defeated Struddy’s Sports Store Redbacks 2-1.
- After being drawn 0-0 at full time and then the same after extra time, the Auswide Silage Bears and Hair Elegance Redbacks went into a penalty shootout with Auswide Silage Bears defeating Hair Elegance Redbacks 3-2.
- Kingaroy Accounting & Tax Redbacks defeated KingAir Redbacks 2-0
Cadets
- Kingaroy Affordable Furniture Redbacks defeated Total Building Solutions Qld Bears 3-1
- McKie Mining Redbacks and Kingaroy NewsXpress Redbacks drew 0-0
