Award-winning Australian author James Moloney will be visiting Kingaroy tomorrow (July 31) to speak to students at Kingaroy State High School and to meet residents at the Kingaroy Library.
Moloney, who is based in Brisbane, is a master storyteller for young people and has been described as one of the most relevant authors for adolescents in Australia today.
In 1997, “A Bridge to Wiseman’s Cove”, his fifth novel for young adults, won the Australian Children’s Book of the Year Award.
Over the years he has written nearly 40 books.
His first adult novel, “The Tower Mill”, is due to be published in September this year.
Moloney will be at Kingaroy Library from 9.30am to 10.30am.
The visit has been made possible through Regional Arts Development Funding sourced by Kingaroy State High School for this year’s author-in-residence program.
