The South Burnett Regional Council has advised that Transmitter and Woods roads, Wooroolin, will be closed for four weeks beginning Friday.
This is to allow the removal of the old railway line, construction of new pavement and a bitumen seal.
Woods Road will be closed and there will be no access off the Bunya Highway for the duration of the project.
Transmitter Road will be closed at the Sportsground Road T-intersection and the Parallel Road T-intersection.
Residents living on Transmitter Road between the closures will still have access to their properties.
