The South Burnett Regional Council has advised that the first round of funding offered under its Community Assistance Grant program for 2012/2013 is now open.
The closing date is August 31.
Not-for-profit organisations based in the South Burnett may be eligible for financial assistance through the CAG program.
The project offers financial assistance for community events and projects and to elite performers at State and national level in the areas of sport, music, art and education.
Potential applicants should check their eligibility before submitting applications.
Application forms can be downloaded from the council website or obtained at any Council office.
