Queensland Community Safety Minister Jack Dempsey has officially launched a new website to help Queenslanders keep up-to-date about bushfires in the local area.
All reported incidents are listed on the page – such as vegetation fires – as well as community warnings.
Information about incidents is updated every 30 minutes and “emergency warnings” or “watch and act” messages updated every 10 minutes.
The website was officially launched yesterday to mark the start of Queensland’s bushfire season.
