The Kingaroy Eisteddfod is looking for three volunteers to take over important roles for next year’s event.
Eisteddfod Committee president June Kimlin said there were positions open for two Dance volunteers (to assist the Dance co-ordinator) and a Speech and Drama co-ordinator.
The Dance volunteers should have some experience with dancing competitions, either as a competitor or as a parent.
No experience was necessary for the Speech and Drama volunteer.
The volunteers would assist with scheduling and programming so they would have to be available to assist for longer than just the Eisteddfod event, which is scheduled to begin on May 1.
“The schedules will go out in October this year and the programs must be finished by the beginning of April 2013,” June said.
Help will be available from the Eisteddfod Committee to assist the new volunteers to “learn the ropes”.
