A 90-year-old Wondai man had to be rescued from his car this afternoon by emergency service crews.
The man had accidentally wedged the car between a water tank and a gas bottle as he was trying to reverse out of a garage in McIlhatton Street.
Emergency crews received a call at 3:40pm after the man was unable to free himself and attended the scene soon afterwards.
The man was taken to Cherbourg Hospital for observation. He sustained minor injuries.
