May 30, 2012

McDonald’s restaurant in Kingaroy has donated just over $1000 to the Chaplaincy Program at Kingaroy State High School after a day of fund-raising last Saturday.

Volunteers from the community joined McDonald’s staff behind the counter serving customers and collecting donations.

There was also a range of other fun activities for the kids, including face-painting.

McDonald’s franchisee Rod Steele said it had been a great day and the Chaplaincy Program was happy with the support it had received from the public.
