The chairman of CROW-FM Board John Box announced today that Chris “Corky” Corcoran has been appointed as the General Manager of the Wondai-based radio station.
Chris has been acting in the role since long-time station manager Wayne Kratzmann resigned prior to the Local Government elections.
Mr Box said the eight volunteer Board Members were very proud of the professional service that CROW-FM provides.
“We look forward to working more closely with Chris as GM and continuing our relationship with the enthusiastic team at CROW,” he said.
Mr Corcoran said he stepped up to the new role “with a great deal of excitement”.
“Continuing the great work that has already been done, I will endeavour to keep CROW-FM as the community link and are very much looking forward to meeting you all at future events,” he said.
