A BeefUp Forum to assist for cattle producers will be held at Boondooma Homestead on May 31.

The Meat & Livestock Australia forum, which will run from 11:30am-6:30pm, promises “practical tools and information to beef up your business”.

The BeefUp forums have been developed to help beef producers make more money from their beef production enterprises.

Discussions focus on the key profit drivers of beef businesses and sustainability practices that can make a difference to an farm’s bottom line, including:

  • Nutritional technologies to improve animal performance, better target markets and improve profitability,
  • Innovative heifer and breeder management practices to improve turnoff,
  • Strategies to improve land condition for long-term sustainability and greater profits, and
  • Updates on the latest factors affecting markets here and overseas.

The forums provide an opportunity for producers to hear information direct from the source and have their questions answered.
