The Kingaroy Eisteddfod celebrated its 80th birthday this year with six days of intense competition between students from the South Burnett, Dalby, Bundaberg and the Sunshine Coast.

The competitions were held at Kingaroy Town Hall from May 1 to May 11 and covered Speech and Drama, Dance, Vocals and Keyboard, Instrumental and Literature.

The Eisteddfod committee released the official results today and the 2012 Closing Concert will be held at Kingaroy Town Hall on Friday.
