Graham House at Murgon is celebrating Community Centres Month – a time to recognise and celebrate the role that more than 1000 Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres throughout Australia play in their communities.

To acknowledge this special occasion, Graham House will be holding a morning tea and a sausage sizzle at the Centre at 21 Taylor Street East on Monday, May 21 from 10.00am to noon.

There’ll also be face painting and craft activities for pre-school aged children.

Local residents have been invited to participate in the celebrations and take advantage of the opportunity to meet the Graham House team and discover more about the services and programs offered by the Centre.

Another event planned for the day will be the opening of Graham House’s “Family to Family” enterprise.

“Family to Family” will be located at the Taylor Street premises and will contain pre-loved adult and children’s clothing, furniture, white goods, kitchen items, blankets, linen etc.

These goods will be available to those people in the community in genuine need. A donation for goods would be appreciated but is not obligatory.
