Wondai’s “other” flower show at the weekend, the Orchid Show at the Wondai Digger’s Club, also attracted busloads of visitors.
Organised by the South Burnett Orchid Society, the show attracted 20 exhibitors from as far away as the Sunshine Coast.
Bli Bli orchid enthusiast John Salway had 35 entries in the show and took out the top prize, Champion Orchid, with his Vandaceous Alliance-type orchid.
The South Burnett Orchid Society meets at 2:00pm on the last Sunday of every month at the Kingaroy Youth Park in Somerset Street, Kingaroy.
