Sean Barrett, from the Woolooga-based Blackdog Livestock Education, will be holding a Stock and Dog School at Dean and Tracy Rockemer’s property “Boonimba”, near Booubyjan, from May 18-20.
Primary producers, their immediate family, managers and indigenous land managers are eligible for a 65 per cent re-imbursement of the training cost.
The FarmReady registered training course is designed to allow participants to better understand their dogs’ instincts, learn how to start pups correctly as well as improve herd health and increase weight gains, efficiency and profitability.
